The VFE is based on open systems architecture. As such, the VFE can take advantage of newer hardware and connectivity technologies as they occur.
Connectivity
The VFE supports:
- Serial on a dedicated circuit
- Dial up serial via Hayes compatible modems.
- Ethernet TCP/IP
- Token ring TCP/IP
- TSAPI
- Telephone
The VFE can support analog, ADSI, T1 and several custom interfaces. There are also many ways to acquire DNIS and ANI data using CTI Application Bridges to PBXs.
Software
The VFE supports UNIX, NT, OS/2, SOLARIS and MS-DOS based systems. Features which are supported by the VFE:
